A special acquisitions company
The Company was Admitted to the Standard Segment of the Official List and to trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange on 24 December 2020 as a special purpose acquisition company to seek and acquire businesses in the clean energy sector.
To-date no business has been acquired and in June 2026 the decision was made to broaden the Company’s investing outlook. More information concerning this will become clear in future announcements.
As part of the decision mentioned above, Nicholas Nelson was appointed to the board on 29 June 2026 and joined a group of new investors which contributed £300,000 of fresh funds on the same date.
In cooperation with the new group of investors, the Company will broaden its search criteria for a single Reverse Takeover candidate and is already in early discussions with a range of potential candidates.
Share suspension
Pineapple Power Corporation (LSE: PNPL) shares are currently suspended from trading on the London Stock Exchange. The suspension is tied to the company’s financial reporting delays. Pineapple Power delayed the release of its audited annual financial report for the year ending December 31, 2025 (which was due by April 30, 2026).
